Virtual CME Opportunities

September 22, 2022

As you consider how to complete required Continuing Medical Education (CME) before the end of the year, we are happy to offer some new CME opportunities. You can earn up to 6 CME credits online at no cost through Highmark’s Population Health University and Coding and Quality Knowledge College.

Population Health University – Online Modules

Highmark’s Population Health University offers two online modules for CME credit:

  • Emergency Department Utilization – 3 CMEs available
  • Transitions of Care – 2.5 CMEs available

In order to receive CME credit, you must log on to or register for an Allegheny Health Network (AHN) CME account here. After you create an AHN account, you will not need to re-register in the future for other AHN CME opportunities.

You will be eligible to receive partial CME credit for each individual module component, or full credit for completing each module.

Nurses can also use these CMEs for their license renewal.
