Two Injectables to Require Prior Authorization Beginning March 1

Beginning March 1, 2023, two injectable drugs will require prior authorization. The following codes will be added to Highmark’s List of Procedures/DME Requiring Authorization on March 1:

J7331 1% sodium hyaluronate SynoJoynt
J7332 Sodium hyaluronate Triluron

Please note: These drugs will not appear on the authorization-required list or require authorization until the March 1 effective date.

Authorization for these drugs should be submitted through NaviNet.

    Our legacy provider website will be decommissioned on February 1, 2023, at which point you will be redirected to the Highmark Provider Resource Center (PRC).
