What are preventive services?
Preventive services include routine health care such as annual checkups, health screenings, immunizations, and other services that may help to prevent health problems. Preventive care can sometimes uncover a health condition or problem before you begin to show any symptoms. It's safer, easier, and more cost-effective to prevent health issues than to treat them. Plus, we offer more than 20 Medicare-covered preventive care services at a $0 copay*.

* A $0 copay applies when using an in-network provider. To find an in-network provider near you, call us at the customer service number located on the back of your member ID card.
** You have the option to go to your doctor or any in-network pharmacy to receive your flu vaccine. Pharmacies will bill us directly; there is no paperwork involved.
Annual wellness visits are covered by any doctor in our network as part of your member benefits; however, if other services are performed by your doctor at your visit, you may have a higher copay.
