Optional Supplemental Dental Care

We offer optional supplemental dental benefit for you to choose from - either basic or enhanced. Both options give you the freedom to choose your own dentist.

Prescription Drugs

Our Medicare Advantage plans are offered with or without a prescription drug benefit. Some individuals may qualify for extra help paying for prescription drug costs. 

Medigap

Original Medicare pays for many, but not all health care services and supplies. A Medigap policy can help pay some of the health care costs that Original Medicare does not cover, such as copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles.

Preventive Health Benefits

Preventive services include routine health care such as annual check-ups, screenings, and other services that may help to prevent health problems. We offer more than 20 Medicare-covered preventive services at a $0* copay.

BlueShield of Northeastern New York is a Medicare Advantage plan with a Medicare contract and enrollment depends on contract renewal.This information is not a complete description of benefits. The Formulary, pharmacy network, and/or provider network may change at any time. For a decision about whether we will cover an out-of-network service, we encourage you or your provider to ask us for a pre-service organization determination before you receive the service. Please call our customer service number or see your Evidence of Coverage for more information, including the cost-sharing that applies to out-of-network services. Medicare evaluates plans based on a 5-star rating system.
